COMMUNITY
Collaboration with others is central to how I seek answers for complex research questions. I value a strong scientific community, which I find both in my immediate colleagues, and my extended research network.
I regularly attend research workshops and conferences that foster interdisciplinary collaboration. I interact with colleagues who are at a variety of career stages, learning from the experiences of established scientists, and growing with other early career researchers.
Conferences that I attend:
-
Ocean Carbon and Biogeochemistry summer workshop
-
Ocean Sciences Meeting
-
International Workshop on Trait-based Approaches to Ocean Life
Workshops, trainings and committees:
-
2014 NSF/UNOLS Chief Scientist Training Cruise
